Timeless Scandinavian Kitchens
Scandinavian kitchens remain one of the favourite styles for many homes. They reiterate the timeless design, which is all about function, less-is-more aesthetics, neutral materials, and hints of personality. Scandinavian kitchens are not about minimalism because they embrace softness and warmth, with handcrafted units and unique features that encourage a cosy, yet stylish finish.
Many modern Scandinavian kitchens embrace hygge styling to maximise home comfort and personal flair. Natural timber is synonymous with the aesthetic, as are neutral tones and eclectic personal touches, including wall art, homeware and mid-century furniture. Fine craftsmanship is also a key part of the Scandinavian kitchen design, and our expert cabinet makers create stunning but understated details that will stand the test of time. Soft palettes are interchangeable with Scandinavian kitchens, as they minimise upper cabinetry, allowing for a less cluttered effect. Adding vintage and classic design pieces, black tones, and hints of colour in a new handmade kitchen will give the space a Scandi-vibe.
Our kitchens are all bespoke and handmade, and here are three of our favourite Scandinavian kitchens, which we are really proud of.
The North London Kitchen

The North London Kitchen project is a modern, yet warm, bespoke kitchen created to be functional and allow the natural materials to sing. Our design centred on highlighting the expansive glazed windows in the dining area. We selected a minimalistic, nature-inspired colour palette to establish a sense of calm and cohesion. Our team designed oak-finished cabinets to add warmth and texture, set beautifully between the soft, whitewashed walls and the deep black-tinted glass on the appliances and tall pantry. This balance of tones makes the rich textures of the materials the key attraction without overpowering the bespoke kitchen space. The Scandinavian kitchen features natural textures and a sense of lightness to create a harmonious space that feels modern yet timeless.
The Alpine Ski Chalet Kitchen in France

The Alpine Ski Chalet Kitchen in France is a stunning example of embracing abundant light and natural wood’s warmth, creating a sanctuary space for the owners. The Scani-inspired kitchen project needed to be functional yet modern and pay homage to the barn’s rustic origins. The wooden beams and windows, high ceilings, and spectacular natural vistas inspired us to create an honest, handmade kitchen with stunning feature pieces full of natural and engineered materials to ensure that beauty and functionality live in harmony.
Scandinavian Kitchen in Bristol

For our Scandinavian Kitchen project in Bristol, we featured beautiful, stripped timbers and vibrant mustard yellow colour for contrast and a hint of sunniness. We wanted the kitchen to pop effortlessly with a contemporary feel and natural light. We chose stainless steel work surfaces to provide a functional, robust, hygienic preparation surface which beautifully highlights the modern kitchen. Adding oversized filament lamps hung randomly on black braided cords created the feature statement that Scandinavian kitchen designs welcome.
