Nothing quite beats the feeling of getting something that fits you perfectly. A tailored suit, custom made shoes, or that amazing piece of steak cooked just so.
Papilio bespoke kitchens are beautiful, functional, and made to exactly your own requirements. This comes with the ability to make sure your own personality shines through and the kitchen matches the needs of the whole family.
Our designers are big fans of small details. Those tiny touches that tip their hat to a particular part of the design brief. Maybe it’s the way we’ve arranged the appliances, or the run of the worktop, the design of the taps or door handles.
Because we do everything just as you like it, it’ll have your signature built-in.
For those with a love of the collectable
For some it’s wine, others might have a love of glassware or china. At the more esoteric end, perhaps it’s models of animals, cars, or letterboxes. If you’ve got a life long passion we can find a way to build this into the design.
A great example of this is the Georgian Manor House Kitchen we built. This had plenty of space for the owners to display their unique collection of chinaware and objet d’art.
Because everything we do is totally bespoke, we can work specific details like a family crest or motto into the design. It’s your kitchen, and your imagination is the only limit.
The only standard size is the one you pick
Yes, most worktops are around 900mm high with a depth of somewhere between 600mm and 650mm. Is the cook in your home a little taller (or shorter), we’ll make the worktop exactly the right height and depth.
The same goes for overhang, kickboard recess, cabinet depth and top thickness.
While these might sound like minor details, they can make all the difference to how easy and comfortable it is to use the kitchen. Papilio believe that a bespoke kitchen should be a joy to use and leave you smiling every time you cook in it. It’s precise attention to detail that will do this.
For those that like to use the kitchen in a particular way
Nearly every cook will admit to having certain foibles when it comes to how they use their cooking space.
A love of shellfish could see a hidden ice tray built into the worktop. If you like to have particular things to hand then bespoke storage could be just the ticket.
We can account for your workflow too, if you like to prep, cook, and plate up in a specific way, then we can design the kitchen so it flows with you.
However you work, we’ll make sure the kitchen matches it with equal finesse and style.
Accounting for the hairy members of the family
We’re not talking about the kids! Pets can so often be at the heart of the family, and your kitchen can match their needs too.
Somewhere for the dog to lie without being in the way, but still be the centre of attention. A cosy corner for the cat to curl up in before they come to distract you from the cooking.
We can always account for these types of family needs. The end result will be a space that is a haven for the whole family.
By spending the time to discuss your needs in real detail, Papilio bespoke kitchen designers will find out how to make the space reflect your personality. We’ll put the ‘luxury’ into luxury kitchen.
It’ll be a space the whole family feel at home in because it was built with them in mind.
