As bespoke kitchen designers with over twenty years of experience, we live and breathe kitchens. Not only are we obsessed with offering truly unique luxury kitchens, but we’re also always on the lookout for the latest gadgets, accessories and tableware for the home chef. If you’re still looking for Christmas gift inspiration, we have compiled a little festive guide of our favourite gift ideas for the home chef in your life.

Alex Pole
Southwest’s legendary blacksmith Alex Pole and his team create handmade quality cookware and kitchen knives from his Dorset studio. Only traditional methods are used in The Forge, where each piece is forged by skilled craftspeople using only the best materials. Renowned for his chef’s knives, the Alex Pole range has now extended to kitchenware for the cooker, oven and fire.
We absolutely love their carbon steel pots and pans. They use traditionally spun carbon steel with forged handles and copper rivets. The 11″ Oven Skillet is a must-have for any bespoke kitchen. The skillet promises seriously old-school cooking and is perfect for any keen chef.
It is ideal for searing, grilling or frying meat, eggs and fish, simmering sauces or sautéing vegetables. Naturally non-stick properties with no chemical coating, just well-seasoned steel. Quick to heat up with superb uniform heat distribution for better cooking.
The Alex pole range extends to outdoor cooking tools, gardening tools and beautiful utensils.

Marcato Otello Pasta Maker
The limited-edition pasta maker is based on Otello Marcato‘s original design and is a must-have for any home chef. Luxury kitchens are complete with the icon design, integrated pasta cutters, extra space for manoeuvrability, and wooden finishes.
The original design dates back to 1930, when Otello Marcato made the first-ever pasta-rolling machine in a workshop behind his house. Eight years later, he opened a factory in Padua, where Marcato still produces all their products today. Their machines are recognised all over the world for unbeatable quality.
We love this traditional pasta machine’s vintage style, which celebrates the handmade pasta tradition, which is so hard to beat.

Puro Ceramics
Puro Ceramics is based in Frome, Somerset, producing beautiful, earthy ceramics. Each piece, from cups to plates to teapots, is handmade. Puro Ceramics makes tableware and functional objects for homes using stoneware and terracotta. Their pieces are inspired by nature and the beauty of a simple life. Organic shapes, natural imperfections, the tactile nature of materials and unexpected combinations of texture characterise Puro products.
We love the Puro hand-built black stoneware dinner plates with an almond glaze. They are modern and flat with black stoneware and almond (white-ish) glaze with highly textured rust unglazed rim and underside. The best thing about these dinner plates is that they can be used daily or for special occasions, so they are perfect for a busy luxury kitchen.

HKLiving Swirl Wine Glasses
We love these HKLiving Swirl Wine Glasses in mixed colours. The mid-century insured wine glasses are hand-blown with coloured bases, which immediately stand out and will give a bespoke kitchen a playful look.
HKLiving is a Dutch interior brand that we really admire. They design beautiful quality pieces that are accessible and inspired by traditional and useable designs. Their designs respect the history of design but always offer their products a modern look and feel.
