The Kitchen Design
The furniture finishes were carefully selected to be fun yet functional, but also warm and calming for this young professional family. Clean simple lines with hand laid oak veneers provide sophistication and a welcome contrast when paired with the vibrance of the centre cabinets in Rebecca’s Red by Francesca’s Paints and a muted Grey Blue on the taller cabinets.
The slatted wall coverings were initially introduced to prevent sound reverberating in the large open space but ultimately became a key aesthetic within the design. The mixture of finishes, colour and texture provide a constant stream of interest when engaging with the space, enhanced by the homeowners stunning mid-century furniture and collection of plants and objects.

High end appliances include Bora’s professional hob with built in extraction – the current choice for any discerning chef. The remaining appliances have all been selected from the Miele catalogue for their unprecedented reliability and good looks.
