The Clifton Bespoke Bar
This luxurious new build home located in Clifton one of Bristol most prestigious areas is the latest project to receive the Papilio ‘Midas touch’.
This exceptional building offers expansive spaces awash with light, clean uncluttered lines and swathes of pristine white wall space.
The Brief
The brief was to add character, and here Papilio showcase their ability to totally ‘transform spaces’ mixing traditional cabinet making with a variety of materials to produce awe inspiring bejewelled schemes that add incredible warmth and intrigue to the blankest of canvasses.
The scheme consists of a fully bespoke kitchen with peninsular, coffee / breakfast station, brass fronted sideboard and a fully bespoke bar which was again designed and manufactured by Papilio.
The Bar Area
The bar has been finished in walnut and polished brass with double thickness marble worktops with Papilios signature ice trough.
The tall cabinets to the rear of the bar showcase the Papilio duo’s incredible skill with wood, metal and glass; blending the 3 materials with perfection, finishing with elegant bespoke brass handles.
Hidden behind the bar is wine storage along with a wine fridge, beer fridge, glass washer and sink. The finishing touch is the discrete lighting incorporated into the cabinetry, this most effective with the downlights washing down the front face of the bar picking out the walnut ribbed effect which is backed onto polished brass.
