Kitchen Design in Somerset
Our bespoke kitchens in Somerset are expertly considered to fit perfectly with your home and tailored to suit your lifestyle. They are constructed in our southwest studios by a team of highly experienced cabinetmakers. We approach each project with fresh enthusiasm, considering your home’s architecture, your personal style, and your wishes.
A fine example of a bespoke kitchen design in Somerset is our Frome Kitchen project. Located in a splendid Edwardian Manor house. The handmade kitchen design was inspired by mid-century furniture, Scandinavian design, and the property’s architecture. The layout features a parallel arrangement with hand-built, tall walnut cabinetry on one side and low, Carrara marble-topped units on the other. The centrepiece is the modern, mid-century-style custom-built kitchen island, designed with fluted side panels of double-thick Valchromat. The modern kitchen island is finished with a solid brass trim and recessed handleless functionality. The bespoke kitchen in Somerset exudes style, function and unique features which Papilio is recognised for.
Popular Kitchen Styles in Somerset
Our bespoke kitchens in Somerset are inspired by the county’s beauty. Our clients’ homes vary, and so our luxury kitchen design and build service could see us designing a modern kitchen in a Georgian townhouse or a delightful cottage kitchen in a farmhouse surrounded by fields and valleys. We create bespoke kitchens in Somerset that vary greatly in style, but we always consider the property’s architecture when embarking on a new design. Because our kitchens are fully custom-built, nothing is off-the-shelf, and we work with you on your ideal kitchen design. Whether you are dreaming of a Scandinavian kitchen or a natural kitchen, we can make almost anything happen.
Our Design & Installation Process

Absolutely. We often work with architects, builders, interior designers, and stylists at our clients' request. We believe in a collaborative approach to ensure our clients have the kitchen of their dreams.
Are your kitchens built in the UK?
All our kitchens are constructed in the UK. Even for our international clients. All our projects are designed in our studios in Frome and Bath, and your kitchen is manufactured and fully constructed there, including the pre-fitting. The kitchen is then deconstructed and installed in your home.

Do you have an aftercare service?
We will talk you through how to look after your new kitchen. Depending on the materials used, whether marble, oak, copper or engineered materials, we will advise on best practice.
Our kitchens are guaranteed for 10 years. If any cabinetry we craft fails, subject to fair wear and tear, we will repair or replace the faulty item. This guarantee covers any doors, cupboards, shelves, or drawers we build.
