We pay close attention to the finer details, so you don’t have to.
Kitchen Design in Devon
Papilio’s bespoke kitchens in Devon are inspired by the county’s beauty, the properties they are in, and the homeowners themselves. We take the time to understand how you live, cook and entertain in the space, and design a truly handmade kitchen tailored to your needs, desires and style. Our team of expert cabinetmakers is highly experienced and can make almost any request a reality. We’ve even designed our own hardware, bespoke ice troughs, handle solutions and unique features. We’ve even reappropriated antique furniture into new pieces, restored reclaimed extraction, and sourced rare stone to create luxury kitchens that are as unique as their owners.
Popular Kitchen Styles in Devon
Our bespoke kitchens in Devon span a wide range of styles. We have designed handmade Scandinavian-style kitchens in townhouses and modern kitchens in farmhouses, and everything in between. At Papilio, we approach each kitchen project with a fresh perspective because our bespoke kitchens in Devon are entirely unique. We listen to our clients’ needs and wishes and create innovative, functional and beautiful spaces to ensure their dream kitchen.
For our Marble Kitchen project, we worked with a long, narrow space to blend modern elements with timeless classics. As part of a farmhouse renovation, the bespoke kitchen in Devon features white-painted wooden beams and abundant natural light. The brief was to create a space for preparing and eating food, relaxing, and socialising. Having grown up with an AGA range cooker, the homeowner was keen for one to be the focal point of the space, conjuring up a sense of nostalgia and epitomising the centre of their family home. We also designed a central kitchen island to create a separation between socialising and cooking. The contemporary sleek lines of the handleless design against the Arabescato Marble surface complement the styling throughout, and the Corian® adjacent surfaces provide a practical preparation surface, whilst complementing and emphasising the timeless beauty of the marble island.
Our Design & Installation Process
Our handcrafted kitchen design and installation services in Devon are truly bespoke. Every Papilio kitchen is centred on your specifications and inspired by your vision. Each component of a custom kitchen is designed and built from scratch in our West Country studios. We use our expertise to realise your vision, incorporating your preferences and the property’s architecture into the final design.
