We often get asked about our design inspirations, here are two of our favourites from the world of contemporary design.
Philippe Starck – French designer Philippe has produced some of the most iconic furniture of our time. The Ghost Chair, the masters chair and many other design icons produced by Kartell, Vitra and more. He has also crossed to design taps, kitchen utensils, lighting and more. His designs are organic, or classic with a twist. He utilizes the latest materials yet remasters the classics. Aluminium, steel, glass, wood, laminates, marble, polypropylene, polycarbonate, the list is endless.
In his inspiration we incorporate a surprising mix of materials into our designs. We stay on the forefront of the latest discoveries so that we can bring that extra something that our clients are looking for. Our bespoke kitchens stand out amongst the rest.
Zaha Hadid – Zaha a Iraqi-British architect certainly left her stamp on the world when she departed back in 2016. Winner of the most prestigious awards in architecture, famous for organic form that she made possible in the buildings she designed.
In addition to he architectural masterpieces Zaha also designed breath taking furniture including an incredible contemporary kitchen island and kitchen ware.
We love what Zaha stands for, the endless possibilities she offered in her designs made possible by her incredible understanding of the materials she worked with.
