In our Cotswolds Manor House Kitchen project, our client was very keen to have the latest technology to complement and contrast their 17th Century Grade II listed stone manor house. One of our appliance partners, Miele, designed and produce automatic bean-to-cup coffee machines that were the perfect solution for this family. The built-in ‘DirectWater’ coffee machine is designed with a patented ‘CupSensor’ technology for exemplary coffee. The unit can be integrated into a cabinet, much like a built-in oven or microwave, and the proud owners enjoy freshly ground, expertly made coffee any time they wish.
In contrast, in our Richlite Kitchen project, a coffee station was specifically designed within the handmade tall perimeter cabinetry. It is comprised of ‘leathered’ Richlite to offer a subtle beauty and rich contrast to the golden oak of the kitchen island. The pocket doors open at the centre of the cabinets to reveal a double larder cupboard with a coffee station, a boiling water tap by Zip, and a small prep sink.
