St John’s

Their dishes celebrate all of British meat, finding new ways to cook the parts of animals in their bespoke kitchen that are now often wasted, like offal and tongue. Their main restaurant is in Clerkenwell and holds a Michelin star, but they have offshoots across London. Simple but effective food and presentation from start to finish.
To tide you over in lockdown, you can pick up their cookbook, Nose to Tail Eating: A Kind of British Cooking, which collects some of their most delicious recipes. This edition comes with an introduction by legendary chef Anthony Bourdain.
